The first thing I will have you try is an EC reset.
(if your computer IS a MSI brand)
Please try resetting the unit's EC (Embedded controller). This is completely safe.
To do this, follow the steps below:
1. turn off the unit completely
2. unplug it from any power sources/ac adapters
3. Hold down the unit's EC button for a maximum of 30 seconds. (EC button is very small this is usually found on the side of the machine near the front or sometimes on the bottom, please search all over the unit. You will need a small object such as a paperclip to press it)
4. Release the button for 10 seconds, and hold again for another 30 seconds.
5. Plug in the AC adapter and let the unit charge for 5 minutes and turn on the computer normally.
Or non MSI branded System
1. turn off the unit completely
2. unplug it from any power sources/ac adapters
3. Hold down the unit's power button until it turns on by itself, or for a maximum of 30 seconds.
4. If the unit did not turn back on by itself while hold the power button, the EC should still have been reset. Plug in the AC adapter and turn on the computer normally.
If that did not resolve your issue. Please plug in an external monitor to see if it will display on that monitor.
If yes, try to download your intel video driver from the manufacturer website for your model.
