Troubleshooting Power

Power Supply might not work when it's plugged it, but often times it's not the power supply. Try a few things with us to see if maybe we can correct it before calling it a dead component.

1. Is the room out of power? Make sure there are no trips to the power breaker in the home, especially after a storm, bad weather, etc.

2. Is the computer plugged into an outlet, a power strip or a battery backup unit? Make sure the strip and the backup unit is getting power from the outlet. If it is only the outlet, or the power accessories are getting power, try a different outlet.

3. If still no power, try moving the computer close to a different outlet entirely. (Just the PC and the power cable, no other accessories are necessary for this.)

4. If still no power, we might be looking at a dead Power Supply. Please fill out an RMA request form at
