For Windows 10 users:
1) Make sure that everything is up to date in Windows Updates as well as your the updates for your Graphics card.

2) Take a can of compressed air to the vents and fans just in case of dust build up. That can easily encourage the computer to overheat when running higher performance programs.
3) Disable the System's ability to restart or shutdown when the system fails. Hopefully, this will allow us to get a Blue Screen message or something to gauge what the problem is.
To do this, right-click the Windows Icon on the bottom left of the screen, then click "Run". In the "open" field, type "SystemPropertiesAdvanced.exe" without quotes and click OK. Find the "Startup and Recovery" box, then click "Settings" underneath it. Under "System Failure", uncheck "Automatic Restart" then click OK.
