Solid State Drives

Modified on Fri, 19 Feb 2021 at 05:26 PM

Solid State Drives are not like the standard hard disk drives found on most stock PCs at a general retailer.  These drives don't have a spinning disk to tell it how fast it needs to pull up information. Instead, it uses flash memory technology that keeps information without having to reach for it or process it off of a disk.

What's great about it is that without a moving part that wears down with time, Solid State drives are a long lasting internal component that helps maintain the longevity of your documents, pictures and entertainment files. It even opens up these files and applications in...well, a flash!
