1. Right-click on the Start button.
2. Click Disk Management to open the Disk Management console.
3. Right-click the volume that has the drive letter you want to change.
4. Click Change Drive Letter And Paths.
5. Click the Change button.
6. Choose from a list of available drive letters. (Don't use A or B, which have historically been reserved for floppy drives and can sometimes confuse older software.)
7. Click OK.
8. Click Yes if a popup window appears asking if you really want to do this.
9. Close the Disk Management console - you should now be able to open file explorer, go to "This PC", and see the drive under "devices and drives"
